How to Operate or Use the AED Defibrillator
The AED i3 defibrillator is very easy to use and does not neccesarily requir too much skills to operate
Step one:
Open the AED i3 Defibrillator, connect the pad to the machine though the appropriate port.
Step two:
Open the person’s shirt and wipe his or her chest dry.
Step three:
Attach the AED pads on both the right and left side of the chest.
Step four:
Turn ON the AED and follow the visual and audio prompt.
once the AED pads are connected and the AED turned ON, the AED analyzes the person, if the AED recommends that you deliver a shock to the person, make sure that no one, including you, is touching the “Stand clear!”
Step five:
Once clear, press the “Shock” button. perform 2 minutes (about 5 cycles) of CPR and continue following the AED’s prompts until further treatment can be provided
